Sam Hyde performs solo in various roles as a

Piano Man show, featuring himself on

piano and vocals.

“Play it Again, Sam!" is a homegrown

production, a fresh and exciting blend of crowd

favourites - including recent classics from the

likes of Ed Sheeran, Coldplay & The Weeknd, as

well as honoring all-time greats such as The

Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley.

Sam performs his Elton John Tribute Show and his

Billy Joel Tribute Show onboard cruise ships

around the world to great acclaim.

Sam’s solo live sets are a powerful and colourful

collection, with sparkling piano and a memorable

tenor voice crowning the performance.

Sam’s latest duo project is the award-winning Elton John vs. Billy Joel NZ Tribute show - which won best show (“Best in Play”) at the Wellington Hospitality Awards, and is a 2-hour tribute show packed with hits performed on baby Grand Pianos by himself and Cam Crawford.

Sam also teams up with Cam to form popular piano duo Cam & Sam Dueling Pianos - who are regulars on the Wellington night scene. They invite you to request your favourite songs - YOU become the DJ for the show!

Sam has been involved in the entertainment industry for 30 years; he is a current and founding band member of Wellington’s ever-popular Uncle Monkey who have toured Australia, the UK & the USA extensively, and are still actively engaged in both music festivals and wedding performances. Uncle Monkey performed at Honor & Dan Carter’s Wedding, and remain the “champagne” option of Wedding Band Conneisseurs!
